Linking Audio to Visuals and Applying effects P4 (d)
The audio from the actual shots are on the first audio line. To get rid of the unwanted audio I had to unlink the shot from its audio shown in the pictures below.
I clicked on the original audio, moved it away, then deleted as shown in the photo below.

Applying Visual Effects P4 (c)
I used a variation of effects on my video. Below are some of examples of those and how I applied them;
First I went to the side bar on the left where the effect controls were. I clicked on 'Video Effects' and scrolled down to colour correction.
I clicked on the effect Tint and dragged it to the clip that I wanted to place the effects on. I dragged it onto the shot of the eye close up.
I then clicked on the effect and set the amount of the tint that I wanted and what colour.

Producing and reviewing and Applying effects P4 (b)
Below you can see the timeline. On this screenshot the red line in the time line is put in the shot "Back garden dance 2" the right screen there is the clip which I used, so the name of the shot reflects what is happening in the shot.
Continuity editing is shown below, in the first shot the red dress sister is running from behind the trees and on the next shot she is running past the camera towards her sister in the black facing the fire.
When editing my film, I used a number of useful tools in Premiere Pro.
The first tool was the Selection Tool.
It is represented by an arrow. Using this tool I was able to choose clips and then move them by holding the left button of the computer mouse. This made it easier to place clips within the working area and on different lines.
Also I used the Razor Tool to cut down the clips. To cut a clip I had to choose this tool on the tool panel and then click on one of the clips that I wanted to cut down. This allowed me to cut clips to then delete the pieces I didn't want to use. It is also useful for when you want to apply an effect on one part of the clip but not on the other.
Here is another shot where the sister in the red dress is running towards her sister in the black and the red timeline is set on the shot. The right screen reflects this.

Logging rushes & creating and edit decision list P4 (a)
When I finished filming I copied all the footage onto my computer. An important thing in editing is to rename all the shots that were taken to make it easier to find them. Here is an example of renaming the shot.
After renaming my shots, I had to set up my Premiere Pro Project. Below you can see the settings for the Adobe Premiere Pro editing software.
Here is a screenshot of the project set. All the shots in the shot list are named.
Following Production Processes P3 (d)
In a dance video I had to make the style of the video by using more intense and interesting cuts to attract the target audience. I had to make a lot of cuts and dress my actors in the appropriate clothes to attract people's attention. I also included some attributes of a dance video, these included; different sceneries, the appropriate lighting, the right props and the corrects dance moves that will have a powerful response.
My main dancer wore all black to help symbolise her characters emotions on loosing her sister.
My second actor wore a short red dress to symbolise the fire and the age difference between the two sisters.
Below is an example of one of the lenses I used. So by switching from AF to MF I was able to manually control the focus of the camera.
Below is a full map of settings for Canon 7D. From these I mostly used only aperture and automatic settings.

Following Safe working practices P3 (c)
Here is my risk assessment:
- The first hazard was; Could be burnt or set on fire by the bonfire. People that may have been harmed in the filming of this video could of been the actors and crew. The way to avoid this is to stay a fair amount away from the bonfire as well as any dancing for a joke to avoid falling over and seriously hurting yourself.
- The second hazard was; Dancer could sprain a body part when dancing on un even ground. People that may have been harmed would of been the actors. The way to avoid this is to be careful where you step and wear shoes at all time. In the making of the video we did not wear shoes unless we were off camera. The reason why is it didn't look right with shoes and the dancers just had to be extra careful. We had to remove any prickly objects that she could possibly stand on.
Following script / storyboard P3 (b)
When filming I had to follow my storyboard to make sure each shot is how I wanted to see it. The pictures below show all the different positions in which I drew to give the effects that I wanted before filming.
The first clip was filmed how I wrote it. There are more colours used in the clip which gave off a more mysterious effect then the drawing.
In this clip when the girl finds her sisters locket was drawn the way in the script below. The girl may be facing a different way but I thought this would be a different perspective as she is mostly facing the fire.
In this last clip is shows the sister sitting by herself alone slightly inside the shed. In the storyboard you can see one door closed ant the other open which is exactly the same in the clip.

Setting up appropriate equipment P3 (a)
The equipment used was very basic. I used a canon camera with a tripod. I used a per specific lens which was the 85 mm fixed which gave me the exact filming range I needed to give off an affect.
This was all set up inside, away from any water substances that could harm or damage the equipment. When putting the camera onto the tripod, I first removed the plate and then placed the camera on before putting it on the tripod in case the camera was not correctly in place and it fell and broke.

Relevant certification & / or Scheduling P2 (h)
Music recording certifications are typically awarded by the global music industry based on the total units sold or shipped to the retailers. These awards and their requirements are defined by the various certifying bodies representing the music industry in various countries and territories worldwide. The standard certification awards given consist of Gold, Platinum, and sometimes Diamond awards, in ascending order; the UK also has a Silver certification, ranking below Gold. In most cases, a "Multi-Platinum" or "Multi-Diamond" award is given for multiples of the Platinum or Diamond requirements.
Legal & / or ethical issues P2 (g)
Copyright laws protect the rights of the author, artist or other originator of a creative work to control when and how his work can be copied and disseminated, and it prevents others from appropriating the work without permission. Copyright protects the ability of someone to profit from his/her creative work.
Music licensing is the licensed use of copyrighted music. A purchaser has limited rights to use and reproduce the recorded work without a separately arranged agreement. The process of music licensing is there to ensure that composers, songwriters and musicians are paid for the work they do.When you hear music in a restaurant, shops, radio etc that music is licensed. So song righters could get fair share of Royalties.
Risk Assessment P2 (f)
Another hazard may include that the equipment may be harmed during the process of filming the flames. If the fire spits out then the camera and the person filming may be harmed and damaged. To avoid this from happening make sure that before you start filming that the fire is not in contact with something that will effect it and that their are no strong winds. This hazard would be rated at High.
Treatment / Concept (presentation) P2 (a)
For my music video I have chosen the song I See Fire by Ed Sheeran. For this song I will start off with the camera panning towards a bonfire that will have my female lead dancer doing a routine that I will prepare. I will then do an extreme zoom on her eyes with the fire burning in the background, then she will look up when more instruments join into the music. She will then slowly look down and the title of the song will appear. My lead will then be joined by another dancer, she will appear from an old shed that she will see from a distance. Many more dancers will see the fire burning and appear from the bushes, the camera will be zoomed in on their faces as they are beginning to see a beacon of hope that the darkness will end. I will use a cloning effect on one or two different dancers to show the many more people coming out of the darkness.
As the second dancer comes out of the darkness, the lead is about to touch the fire as if there is no hope and just as she is about to touch it dancer 2 pulls her away and an emotional dance sequence begins as the lead begins to realise she's not the only one in the darkness.
This Idea will last about 3-5 minutes long and will include different effects.

Music Video Analysis 2 P1 (a-f)
Music Video Analysis (Analysis 2: Selena Gomez - The Heart Wants What It Wants).
This song tells the story of a girl that had fallen deeply in love with a boy who now doesn't give her the attention that she wants and needs and doesn't treat her right but she knows that he didn't mean to hurt her and she doesn't want to leave him because of how much she is in love with him.
Selena Gomez based this music video on her former flame Justin Bieber. She said about the song, "And it's also a step for me knowing like, 'Ok, this is what I'm about to say, and I need to say it when I'm ready', and I think after this year, it's the perfect way to end the year, it's the perfect way to end a chapter in a way. It's like, this is what I'll say about every single person that has judged me for every decision that I've made, for every person, heart that is being judge for something they've done, and now I just want to release it."
The music Genre of this song is pop!
Directed by Dawn Shadforth
Most of this video is set at eye level.
