Producing and reviewing and Applying effects P4 (b)

Below you can see the timeline. On this screenshot the red line in the time line is put in the shot "Back garden dance 2" the right screen there is the clip which I used, so the name of the shot reflects what is happening in the shot.

Here is another shot where the sister in the red dress is running towards her sister in the black and the red timeline is set on the shot. The right screen reflects this.

Continuity editing is shown below, in the first shot the red dress sister is running from behind the trees and on the next shot she is running past the camera towards her sister in the black facing the fire.

When editing my film, I used a number of useful tools in Premiere Pro.
The first tool was the Selection Tool.

It is represented by an arrow. Using this tool I was able to choose clips and then move them by holding the left button of the computer mouse. This made it easier to place clips within the working area and on different lines.

Also I used the Razor Tool to cut down the clips. To cut a clip I had to choose this tool on the tool panel and then click on one of the clips that I wanted to cut down. This allowed me to cut clips to then delete the pieces I didn't want to use. It is also useful for when you want to apply an effect on one part of the clip but not on the other.
